BEGINNING TO FILM pt.2

 Our second shot day consisted of filming the scene in its entirety and testing locations and lighting on said scenes. Although we were plenty happy with how the walkabout went, we wanted to make sure that there wasn’t a better spot around the school that could better capture the atmosphere and themes for the film. So after a quick series of shots we went to other places in the school and began to experiment. One of the places where this worked out best was the courtyard. The heavy emphasis of light that was present gave it this great blown out look that put it a cut above other locations. So we’ve decided to splice in scenes from different locations in order to achieve a very maximalist and cohesive look to our film.
